Dear Presidents, Bishops, and Ward Council Members:
The Church has prepared a Christmas initiative to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. As you plan your Christmas gatherings and activities, we want to make you aware of the initiative and the resources that will be available for your use.
This year's initiative, entitled #LIGHTtheWORLD, focuses on celebrating and sharing the Light of Jesus Christ with others. The initiative will begin Friday, November 25, 2016, and run through Christmas Day.

Each day in December we will focus on a different Christlike behavior and provide suggestions for ways we can emulate His example. You may find it useful in generating ideas for ward Christmas dinners and gatherings. While the complete advent calendar will not be available until November 25, a planning version is available for download. |
